The location was ideal - near areas that could be improved as well as a taxi, which cost about £8 in the evening. There was plenty of savoury meals. The staff were hospitable and efficient all the time.

Thoroughly enjoyed the place, had a perfectly pleasant stay for more that one night. The staff was very helpful and exceptionally attentive and great to deal with. The hotel was in an amazing location, close enough to walk to through the nature reserve.

Everything was simply perfect. View was LOVELY, breakfast was delicious, and beds were exceptionally comfortable. Its location in a beautiful part of the country was particularly good. And it was also really close to Winchelsea and Winchelsea Beach, Rye and Camber, and the fields at the back of the property, and the pretty River Brede.

The setting was great and gorgeous, close to many other venues, and the beach and hills. Also, Camber Castle was 2 km away.

We've stayed here before and appreciated this place. It was a great stay for a weekend. Location: the hotel was short walk to the Strand House, the historic nature of the building, and the garden. Also, Church of the Grey Friars was in the area of the venue. Exceptionally comfortable beds, room was compact and luxurious.

This hotel is superior, has helpful staff and a superb breakfast. Booked superior double room with an ironing set, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a radio. We loved cereal, croissants and pastries: )
